OK, let’s do a simple thought experiment.
Imagine a woman who meets two guys. Let’s call her Natalie, and the two guys, Adam and Bob.
Adam and Bob are similar in many ways. Both are pleasant, articulate and decent looking. There’s one difference between them, and it’s this–
Adam tends to tiptoe around Natalie. He’s careful not to say or do anything he thinks will tick her off. He never talks about himself. When he’s with Natalie, his attention is 100% on her.
Bob is different. He does whatever he wants, not giving a shit about what others think, including Natalie. He teases Natalie because it’s fun. He talks dirty with Natalie because he’s a horny guy and he’s not ashamed of it.
Adam wants to present the best side of him to Natalie, and so he’s careful around her. Bob couldn’t give a fuck.
So, here’s a question for you…
Who do you think will Natalie find more attractive?
Who would she want as a boyfriend? Adam or Bob?
This is, of course, a trick question. Because the answer depends on who Natalie is, and what her circumstances are.
Let’s say Natalie is 30 years old, and single after getting dumped by her ninth boyfriend. At the end of her youth, stability and security may be more important than fun and excitement. So, she would probably cash it in and choose the safer option… Adam.
Now, let’s say Natalie is a 22-year-old bosomy bombshell who gets wolf-whistled by guys wherever she goes. Here, Adam will never stand a chance against Bob.
Makes sense, right?
OK, so let’s think deeper about this. Apart from the difference in attitude, what sets Bob apart from Adam? What does Natalie see in Bob that’s lacking in Adam?
Here’s what–
Adam is careful not to lose Natalie. Bob doesn’t give a shit if Natalie likes him. Or, in short, he has the option of walking away, and he knows it.
In Shogun Method, Derek Rake calls this the Optionality Factor. Simply, how attractive a man is to women depends on how much optionality he has in life.
So, here’s the bottom line.
If you have options, women will know it. And that makes you attractive.
If you don’t have options, women will know it, too. And that makes you unattractive.
Your attractiveness grows and shrinks in proportion to your options. Therefore, to be attractive to women, you’ve got to grow your optionality.
Got that?
Now, here’s the thing. How does a guy show he has got options?
The answer is to show your readiness to walk away from a woman. It’s the power to ignore a woman who likes you… especially one who is fought over by other guys. It’s the willingness to dump your girlfriend or divorce your wife if she is pissing you off.
Here’s the tricky thing, though. This power cannot be faked. Your willingness to walk away has to be legit and it has to come from within.
Pickup artist programs teach guys to fake this optionality. They use tricks like “fake time constraints” and other crap to show women they have options. But guess what? Women are smart, and they can smell fake shit like this a mile away.
Shogun Method is different. How? Well, here’s how. You see, to have the power of walking away in your hands, your options must be real.
I mean, just imagine. If you know you can get any woman you want anywhere, you’ll never get hung up with any one woman, right? And guess what? Shogun Method gives you this ability.
And as you’ll find out, Shogun Method is more effective than any pickup artist trick you’ll ever know. Because come on, let’s face it. In the seduction space, fads are a dime a dozen. But to have lasted so many years, Shogun Method is the standard.
Now, I’m not here just to tell you how great Shogun Method is. You’re here to learn how to be attractive to women, right? And that’s what you’re going to get out of this article today.
So, here are the three key points to remember–
One. Your attractiveness depends on the options you have with women. In Shogun Method, Derek Rake calls this the Optionality Factor.
Two. Your power of walking away depends on your Optionality. And,
Three. Shogun Method gives you Optionality.
